got even more popular when it launched the “Dublin City Inter-College
Drinking Championship” which was eventually won by DIT Bolton Street.
June 1998

Turbo, Nicky Nitro and Joe 90.

Show and 200 cans of cheap imported beer, a ten minute conversation is
accidentally broadcast to all of Dublin…resulting in a lengthy
suspension.
January 2001
As rumours of goat interference surface again, Joe 90 flees to Australia
leaving the Alternative Crew reduced to 2 members, Johnny Turbo and
Nicky Nitro.
February 2002
Joe 90 is cleared of all charges when the goat admits that it made up
the whole thing and returns to the Alternative Hour.
March 2002
Johnny Turbo is also forced to flee to Australia following an incident
that cannot be mentioned here because of legal reasons. He is currently
living in Australia trying to clear his name. He has been enlisted by
the Australian Government to train 17 kangaroos for the next Winter
Olympics.
Currently
The Alternative Hour continues every Monday night at 10pm, approaching
its 8th year as the most important program on Freedom FM. Some say that
it is the most important radio show of all time. In fact, the very idea
of radio has been attributed to the Alternative Crew.
